Subject: RasterOps Image Formats
We have a Macintosh RasterOps to capture and display images. We like
to convert the image format from it to Sun's. It uses two different
formats of image : PICT and TIFF. Does anyone know the format of these
two or where to get the information about them ?
My e-mail address: dmilyu0@ps.uib.es
Thank you in advance !
[ Please post the answer to the Vision List. A PICT/TIFF to Sun Rasterfile
conversion, as well as PICT/TIFF to CVL image format, SRI image format,
etc. is also very valuable. Also, please post any other image conversion
programs that you may know of. A lot of people can benefit from this.

Subject: references on parallel computers for computer vision: summary (long)
Some months ago I asked for references on parallel computers for computer
vision. Thanks very much to all who answered.
Meanwhile I had time to collect all the received references and of course
addid mine. Since I got quite encouraging votes to summarize,
here is the result. I post the list in refer format, hoping that's convinient
for most of you. Sometimes I added keywords which might be useful to some
extent. Articles contained in books or collections are sometimes listet
seperatly sometimes not, reflecting somewhat my needs. Beside references
regarding parallel computer vision, I also recorded some references concerning
parallel computing. The selection is more or less arbitray and naturally far
from being complete (as the whole list).
I hope this list may be helpful to some of you.
