Spicy Chili Garlic Pork Rib Tips
Ingredients:
- 1 pound pork rib tips
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp cooking wine
- 1 Tbsp chili garlic sauce
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp oil
- 4 shiitake mushrooms, soaked and halved
- 1 Tbsp oil
- 3 slices ginger
- 3 star anises
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup hot water
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Instructions:
- Prepare one pound of pork rib tips.
- Marinate the rib tips with soy sauce, cooking wine, chili garlic sauce, cornstarch, and oil for a few hours.
- Soak shiitake mushrooms in water until soft, then cut them in half.
- Heat a cooking pan over medium heat with 1 Tbsp of oil. Add ginger slices, star anises, and bay leaves. Then add the marinated pork ribs.
- Cook the pork ribs until they turn golden brown (approximately 5-8 minutes).
- Add the shiitake mushrooms, chicken broth, and hot water. Reduce the heat to medium-low, close the lid, and continue cooking for 25-30 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Turn the heat to medium-high to reduce the sauce.
- Add in 1 tsp of sesame oil. Your Spicy Chili Garlic Pork Rib Tips are now ready to be served. Enjoy!
