Roasted Garlic-Ginger Chicken Thighs
Ingredients:
- 6 chicken thighs with skin and bone
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons minced ginger
- 2 tablespoons rosemary
- 1/2 cup diced red onion
Marinade:
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cooking wine
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
Instructions:
- Begin by preparing the chicken thighs. Ensure they have skin and bone intact.
- Dice 2 tablespoons each of minced garlic, minced ginger, and rosemary. Additionally, finely chop 1/2 cup of red onion. Set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine 3 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of cooking wine, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and 1 tablespoon of black pepper to create the flavorful marinade.
- Place the chicken thighs into the bowl along with the minced garlic, ginger, rosemary, and diced red onion. Allow the chicken to marinate for a few hours, preferably overnight, to enhance the flavors.
- Preheat the oven to 385˚F.
- Arrange the marinated chicken thighs in a baking dish, ensuring an even distribution of the garlic, ginger, rosemary, and red onion.
- Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 40 minutes.
- Once baked, carefully remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
