Here's our first issue of 1996 - I hope it's just the start of an enjoyable
computing year for us all.
The previous information on the Amiga "Surfer" was very cryptic, so I thought
I'd send this new, more informative story out right away. I noticed this one
refers to a February ship date, not January.
The second story is really amazing! It seems someone has come out with an
accelerator board for the A-600, of all things! The interesting thing here is
that an accelerated A-600 in a PAWS case could make a really nice Amiga
portable. We have no idea at this time whether the accelerator would fit in
the PAWS case along with an Amiga, but it's a possibility. The total cost is
another issue that might make it impractical, depending on what you'd have to
pay for a used A-600.
The final item, on the attempt in Australia to get an International Amiga
Society off the ground, is actually an older story but one we'd not carried
before.
Enjoy, and we hope your new year is off to a good start!
