Nothing new today, I just thought some of you might like to read the
actual network postings which prompted the rumors I reported yesterday.
Here they are but keep in mind there is no official confirmation of any
of this yet. These items were picked up from the nets by Mrs. Brad
(Royan), who's a first rate reporter.

The latest info is that Commodore international was bought out yesterday
by
Commodore UK. They had to revise their bid 3 times to fend off the
others
bidding on what was left of the big C=.

There are now rumors that they will change their name to Amiga Intl. and
that
they plan to release 'new' machines by Christmas.

Yes, as of yesterday the new owners of Commodore International are......

Commodore U.K.

Commdore UK is a very respectable company that was able to successfully
market
and sell the Amiga line of Computers as well as the Amiga CD32 in the
United
Kingdom. They will now take over the whole world operations, and they
have 2
additional computer manufaturing plants coming online by the end of the
month
to help produce Amiga's and CD32's!

Look for official announcements soon, and probably a good advertising
campaingn
also!

Note: There is a rumor tht they are going to change their name to Amiga
Intl.

Thank you! I've corrected the date in the article. However, some websites list January 1980 as the date of death.
