1. CSR-2006: International Computer Science Symposium in Russia

CSR 2006 is the first conference in a series of regular events intended to reflect the broad scope of international cooperation in computer science.
St.Petersburg is one of the most beautiful and architecturally imposing cities in the world, and June is the best and most romantic season of "white nights" when it never gets dark and wonderful bridges open at night to let boats pass. The conference will include also a cultural programme.
CSR 2006 consists of two tracks:
Theory Track:
- algorithms, protocols, and data structures;
- complexity and cryptography;
- formal languages, automata and their applications to computer science;
- computational models and concepts;
- proof theory and applications of logic to computer science.
Applications and Technology Track:
- programming and languages;
- computer architecture and hardware design;
- symbolic computing and numerical applications;
- application software;
- artificial intelligence and robotics;
- computer graphics and image processing.

There will be limited support for travel expenses of Russian participants. Participants from Scandinavia may request funding from the NoNA network.

3. Signature from a New Subgroup Assumption

Abstract. We present a new signature whose security is reducible to a new assumptions about subgroups, the Computational Conjugate Subgroup Members (CCSM) Assumption, in the random oracle model.
