Japanese Dynamite Mussels (Modified Version)
Ingredients:
8 pieces of green mussels (frozen package), cleaned with cold water
Dynamite Sauce:
- 3 tablespoons Kewpie mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 tablespoon Sriracha sauce
Toppings:
- Sesame seeds
- Scallions, finely chopped
Instructions:
- Preheat the air-fryer to 350˚F.
- In a bowl, combine Kewpie mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, fresh lemon juice, and Sriracha sauce to create the dynamite sauce.
- Coat each cleaned green mussel generously with the dynamite sauce.
- Place the sauced mussels in the preheated air-fryer and cook at 350˚F for 7 minutes.
- Increase the temperature to 400˚F and continue cooking for an additional 2 minutes to achieve a golden and crispy texture.
- Once done, remove the mussels from the air-fryer and transfer them to a serving platter.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds and finely chopped scallions on top of the mussels for added flavor and presentation.
