Sailor Moon “U” Episode #1
This fanfic (new SM season) takes place a year after Sailor Stars. As for the other people on the “ng” who said they were going to make the continuing season, I apologize. This is first try at writing anything using other people’s characters so if I get the personalities wrong, again, forgive me.
Intro
As the fog separated, the surface of the moon was gradually appeared. The silhouettes of six people and two cats were faintly visible through the separating fog. As it disappeared completely, the Super Sailor Senshi, Eternal Sailor Moon, Luna, Artemis, and an unidentified woman whose features were too far away to notice came into vision. The unidentifiable woman raised her hand upward and a large black portal opened up above her. As the woman disappeared, the Senshi joined hands with Luna and Artemis on their shoulder’s and Sailor Teleported after her, disappearing forever……………
Rei woke up screaming. She opened her eyes and put her hands on her forehead. It was just a dream, she thought to herself. The same one for the sixth night in a row. Something weird’s going on.
Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr………………….! Usagi rolled over, whacked the snooze alarm on what she unconsciously hoped was her alarm clock, and rolled back over and continued snoring as loud possible could without waking up Luna. She mumbled something queer about insane maniacal elevators out to get her. However she was unlucky enough not to know that Luna was already awake and stalking her.
Now Luna takes pleasures in the little things of life. Especially the one where Rei gives her an excuse to give Usagi a Saturday morning wake up call. She jumped softly on Usagi’s bed and tiptoed quietly over to her ear. She took so much pleasure in doing this that she didn’t happen to think that even if there was a bulldozed destroying her house, they couldn’t get her to wake up. She took a deep breath.
“USAGI!!!!!!!!!!”
About as fast as an (would someone like to fill me in on how old these people are at the time Sailor Stars ended) year old could go, Usagi leapt from her bed and into a small corner where she sat glaring at Luna who was smirking from on top her bed.
“Luna, you better have a real good reason for waking me up on a SATURDAY!”
“Rei called you up on your communicator and said that she was going to hold a meeting at her temple.”
“Meeting? You woke me up for a MEETING? Why?” Usagi whined.
“Knowing Rei………,” Luna trailed off into thought about what Rei’s visions have done before. What if Usagi has to become a Sailor Soldier again? Will she want to? Worse yet, will she remember how?
A black portal opened up over the surface of the moon. A woman about six feet tall wearing a white leotard with a glittery black knee length see through skirt that only went from her back to her hips. Her shoes were black high heels with black ribbons that crisscrossed up to her knees. Her front and back bows were gray and shredded into several places with a silver middle piece on just the front one. Her sleeves were long gray spikes that curled at the end. Her choker was black with silver spikes encircling it. Her lacy elbow length gloves extended to her wrists then narrowed into a triangle that covered only the middle finger. Her hair was a bright reddish-orange color that did not at all match the general trend of her outfit. It was tied up into forty-two braids that wrapped around into a circle halfway between the top and the back of her head. Emerging from the center was a ponytail that reached all the way down to her feet.
The woman stared at her new surroundings and scowled. It’s small, but it will have to do, she though grimly to herself. She held her right hand out to the to the right and a three foot tall rod appeared. On top was a one foot circle with different colored spikes on the outer and inner rims.
“Come forth Telecnika!” she shouted as she held the rod up. The colored spikes on the outer rim glowed as they sucked the surrounding energy and transfered it to the inner rim of spikes which then began to glow. A small ball of energy and shot outward to form another woman.
“You called Queen Zeal?” the new woman asked.
“Yes. I want you to investigate that planet we appear to be orbiting. It appears to have life on it. I want you to make sure none of it’s inhabitants pose any threat to our my plan.”
“Yes, Queen Zeal.” She disappeared and made her way to Earth below.
Zeal turned around. This will be easier than I thought…………………
“Five nights in a row? Do you know what it means Rei?” asked Ami, who was busy plunking away at her Mercury computer, examining the input about Rei’s dream.
“Not yet. I keep getting closer though. To the figures I my dream that is..”
“Maybe it’s a brand new enemy. Another one that thinks they’re going to take over the universe,” suggested Minako, who was contentedly brushings Artemis with her new wire cat brush.
“You should be on the lookout for anything suspicious going one,” replied Artemis, who was not at all enjoying the treatment.
“Agreed,” put in Luna who was sleeping on Usagi while she dosed with her eyes open.
All the girls but Usagi nodded their heads in agreement.
Telecnika, in human form, walked up the streets of Tokyo examining everything and everyone she came in contact with. She had felt strong energy coming from this city but didn’t know exactly where it was coming from. This made for one frustrated Telecnika.
She was just passing a building when she felt a strong wave of the energy she had been searching for. The buildings stated that it was an arcade. She walked in and looked around. No one there seemed to be giving off the energy. Telecnika was about to leave when a burst of squealing coming from the far corner made her turn around. She spotted Usagi, Minako, and a bored Luna and Artemis. Minako has just run Usagi off the road in one of those race car games. Telecnika smiled.
“No! No! Nooooooooooooooo!” cried Usagi as she watched her car spin out into the crowd of innocent bystanders. Minako laughed. They were about to start another game when everything got very dark. They looked around the corner and everyone was lying unconscious on the floor.
They climbed out from the race car game to see what had happened to all the people. A woman stood smiling at them.
“Who’re you!” demanded Luna.
“I am Telecnika. Servant to Queen Zeal, who will soon become ruler of your universe. First, I must take care of you.” Minako shuddered at the thought that she was right about the whole “everybody only wants to take over the universe” thing.
Beams of light shot out from Telecnika’s fingers. The girls and cats jumped out of the way.
“Transform!” shouted Artemis.
“Venus Crystal Power, Make-UP!”
While Minako transformed, Usagi managed to get herself hid behind “Sailor V” the arcade game. Telecnika approached her, but before she could act, Minako cleared her throat, directing the attention to her.
“I am Sailor Venus!”
“Sailor who?”
Before Venus could continue, more voices appeared.
“I am Sailor Mercury!”
“I am Sailor Mars!”
“I am Sailor Jupiter!”
Telecnika turned around to see three silhouettes standing in the light of the doorway.
“Sailors?” she asked, confused.
“Usagi! Transform!” they yelled.
Usagi picked herself from behind “Sailor V” and stared forward, taking out her brooch.
“Moon Eternal, Make-UP!”
These girls must be the source of that strange energy. Sailors? Telecnika scowled. She was about to throw more light beams.
“Venus Love-Me Chain!”
The yellow chain of hearts wrapped around Telecnika.
“Huh?” Telecnika gasped.
“Over here!” shouted Eternal Sailor Moon. “I am Sailor Moon! Champion of Justice! And on behalf of the moon, I will punish you!”
Telecnika looked completely confused.
“H-how-”
“Starlight-”
“c-can-”
“Moon-”
“y-you-”
“Therapy-”
“b-be-”
“Kiss!”
The word stronger could barely be heard as Telecnika disintegrated into nothing but a pile of dust which eventually blew away to added to the small pile outside Ms. Haupt’s Algebra/Geometry room in Ashwaubenon Wisconsin where she has been collecting them.
There was a long silence.
“Guys, come here,” Mercury said.
They crowded around her.
“There are strange readings coming from the moon. Maybe we should check it out.”
They joined hands. Rei was hesitant. She kept thinking about the dream. They knew, she knew, but it was something they both had to do. Luna and Artemis hopped on their shoulders.
“Sailor-”
“Teleport!”
They disappeared to the moon.
Zeal felt Telecnika’s death and her eventual arrival to the Bad-Guy Graveyard of dust in front of the Algebra/Geometry room.
“Who could be strong enough to kill her?”
“WE CAN!” the five Senshi shouted.
Zeal spun around.
“Who’re you?”
“We’re the Sailor Senshi!” said Venus.
“We stand for love!” said Jupiter.
“And justice!” said Mercury.
“And behalf our respective planets!” said Mars.
“We will punish you!” finished Moon.
They stared at each other. The Senshi and Zeal. Mars almost went pale. She knew this scene. She knew this scene well. Moon raised her scepter.
“Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss!”
Zeal raised her hand and the attack faded. The Senshi gasped. Zeal chuckled a little. She returned an attack that sent all the Senshi backward, but barely fazed them.
“We’re evenly matched Senshi. You get to keep your universe, but I’ll find another one to take over.”
Zeal raised her hand upward and a black portal opened above her. She disappeared.
“I have the readings for the portal. We can follow her.” said Mercury, who had stopped plunking on her Mercury computer.
They all looked toward Mars.
“My dream made it seem as though we would disappear forever……”
“We have to go. We can’t let Zeal take over some other defenseless universe even if it isn’t our own.” pointed out Jupiter.
“Besides, we don’t know what will be on the other side of that portal…………do we Mercury?” asked Venus.
“No.”
“See. We don’t know what might be there.”
“Which is a good reason NOT to go.” retaliated Mars.
“I disagree,” said Moon quietly, “we should go. Besides, you don’t know anything bad is on the other side. YOU kept waking up!”
There was a long pause as Moon’s comment sunk in. Mars agreed and they all took hands. Luna and Artemis took their places on the shoulders of Moon and Venus.
“Sailor-”
“Teleport-”
The Senshi disappeared after Zeal, in a fight for all the universes.
