Sautéed Shrimp and Chicken with Tofu
Sautéed Shrimp and Chicken with Tofu
Marination Ingredients:
For the Chicken:
- 2 chicken breast, sliced
- 1 tsp salt
- A pinch of white pepper powder
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp water
- 1 Tbsp oil
For the Shrimp:
- 10 pieces of shrimp, peeled and deveined
- A pinch of salt
- A pinch of white pepper powder
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp oil
Preparation:
- Cut 1 box of medium firm tofu into small cube size.
- Cut 1 cup of baby corn into halves.
Cooking Instructions:
- Heat a cooking pan over medium heat with 1 Tbsp of oil and 1 Tbsp of minced garlic.
- Add the marinated chicken and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes, then add the shrimp and continue cooking for a minute.
- Stir in 1 Tbsp of cooking wine, stir well, and then set it aside.
- In the same pan, add 1 Tbsp of oil, then add the cut tofu and baby corn.
- Stir-fry for a minute, then add 1/2 tsp of salt, a pinch of white pepper powder, 1 cup of chicken broth, and 1/2 cup of hot water. Continue to cook for a few minutes.
- Reintroduce the cooked chicken and shrimp to the pan and mix well.
- Use cornstarch mixed with water to thicken the sauce.
- Finish with 1 tsp of sesame oil and sprinkle some chopped scallions as garnish. Your sautéed shrimp and chicken with tofu is ready to serve. Enjoy!
