Ginger Garlic Seafood and Tofu Delight
Ingredients:
- 1 block of medium-firm tofu
- 8 oz Cod fish fillets
- 8 oz Jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
- Cornstarch for breading
- Cooking oil
- 4 slices of ginger
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
- 1 Tbsp scallions, finely chopped
Sauce:
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 1 Tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 Tbsp chicken broth
- 2 Tbsp water
Instructions:
- Cut tofu into square shapes and coat with cornstarch.
- Slice fish fillets and coat with cornstarch.
- Peel and devein jumbo shrimp, then coat with cornstarch.
- In a medium-heated pan, fill a quarter with cooking oil. Pan-fry shrimp, fish fillets, and tofu separately until crispy and golden brown. Set aside.
- In a separate pan over low heat, add 1 Tbsp of oil. Cook ginger and garlic for a minute.
- Add soy sauce, sugar, rice vinegar, chicken broth, and water. Continue cooking over low heat to reduce the sauce.
- Add the pan-fried shrimp, fish fillets, and tofu to the sauce. Ensuring the ingredients are well-coated.
- Stir in scallions and sesame oil.
- Your Ginger Garlic Seafood and Tofu Delight is now ready to serve!
