Beef Noodles
Beef Noodles
Marinade Ingredients:
- 6 oz of beef (preferably Sirloin), sliced
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- Pinch of white pepper powder
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp oil
Cooking Ingredients:
- 8 oz noodles of your choice
- 1 Tbsp oil (for cooking noodles)
- 1 Tbsp oil (for stir-frying beef)
- 1 Tbsp minced garlic
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup hot water
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Instructions:
- Cut the 6 oz of beef into thin slices (preferably Sirloin).
- In a bowl, combine the beef with 1 Tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp sugar, pinch of white pepper powder, 1 Tbsp cornstarch, and 1 Tbsp oil. Allow it to marinate for a few hours.
- Heat a pan over medium heat with 1 Tbsp of oil.
- Add the noodles and stir-fry for a few minutes until they are heated through. Take it out set aside.
- In the same pan, add 1 Tbsp of oil along with 1 Tbsp of minced garlic. Once the garlic turns golden brown, add the marinated beef and cook until it's medium-well done.
- Add 1 cup of chicken broth, 1 cup of hot water, 1 Tbsp soy sauce, 1 Tbsp oyster sauce, and 1 tsp sugar. Continue cook for a minute.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with a little water to create a slurry. Add the slurry to the hot broth while stirring continuously until the sauce thickens.
- Pour the beaten egg into the sauce and stir until the egg is cooked.
- Add 1 tsp of sesame oil to the sauce.
- Pour the sauce over the noodles. Sprinkle some chopped scallion for garnish.
- Your delicious Beef and Noodles are now ready to be served! Enjoy your meal.
