Beef Stir-Fry Chow Fun Noodles
Beef Stir-Fry Chow Fun Noodles
Marinade Ingredients:
- 8 oz beef (preferably sirloin), sliced
- 1 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- pinch of white pepper powder
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoons oil
Cooking Ingredients:
- Half pound chow fun noodles
- 2 tablespoons oil
- Handful of bean sprouts
- Handful of scallions, 2 inches strips
- 1 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
- pinch of white pepper powder
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
Instructions:
- In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, sugar, white pepper powder, cornstarch, and oil. Mix well to ensure the beef is coated with the marinade. Set it aside while you prepare other ingredients.
- If you are using ready-made chow fun noodles, loosen them up to separate the strands.
- Heat a cooking pan over medium heat and add 1 tablespoons of oil.
- Add the marinated beef to the pan and cook it to medium doneness. Once done, take out the beef and set it aside.
- In the same pan, add 1 tablespoon of oil, then add chow fun noodles and bean sprouts, and keep stirring for a minute to prevent sticking.
- Pour soy sauce, dark soy sauce and white pepper over the noodles. Continue stirring until the soy sauce is evenly distributed and coats the noodles.
- Return the cooked beef, and add chopped scallions to the pan. Mix everything together to combine the flavors.
- Finally, add 1 teaspoon of sesame oil to enhance the aroma and give it a nice finish.
