The green children from Spain
1877: We are in Spain, precisely in "Banjos", a small peasant village in the Cantabria area. In that period it was the time of the wheat harvest and two children, coming out of a very deep cave, would never have been noticed had it not been for the fact that, in addition to speaking an incomprehensible language, in addition to wearing clothes made of a very strange substance (later examined), they had green skin.
Although the story seems like one of the usual fairy tales told in small towns, there is evidence of what happened.
The magistrate Ricardo Da Calno, the largest landowner in the area, was the one who welcomed the two children brought by the farmers. He was so amazed that he rubbed in vail the little girl's hand to see if the green color could go away.
One of the first, also without success, who tried to understand something, was a religious man from Barcelona, a scholar that could speak various languages. He wrote:
"I have been so convinced by what I have heard, that I see myself forced to accept the fact, even if incapable of understanding it and attempting to explain it with the forces of the intellect"
The children, between suspicion and amazement, limited themselves only to smelling or licking the foods that were offered to them. They fasted for 5 days, becoming very thin. Later some beans were brought to the table which they ate greedily. They never touched other food.
Da Calno observed how the physiognomic features of the two children were completely similar to the Negroid race, furthermore he stated that the eyes were almond-shaped and recessed into the sockets.
Unfortunately the male became very weak and died after about a month. The little girl however recovered and became a maid in the Da Calno house.
The little girl became an adult and she learned enough words to express herself.
When she was asked where she came from, her words of response only deepened the mystery... She said she came from a place where the sun never rose and there was eternal twilight, furthermore she said:
"There is a country of light not far from us, but from which we are separated by a current of great breadth"
She also remembered that she arrived on earth in a very similar way to what can be defined as an astral landing by modern ufology; she said,
"There was a great noise. We were taken in the spirit and found ourselves in the cornfield."
The girl lived for five more years, after her death she was buried next to her brother.
Although the fact may seem untrue, in Spain there are reports and testimonies of the whole story, from those who heard and saw the facts.
In my humble opinion, perhaps the children of the non-human race came from another dimension or another planet, the reference to the proximity of their origin but contrasted with the "current of great width" perhaps can make one think of time travel, the passages inside "stargates" that allow interstellar distances to be shortened.
We may know the how... but we will never understand the why of these two alien children on earth.
Update
According to my latest research, the story of the two green children was born in 1300 also in a place near London. The details of the story would be almost identical, the place in question would be "Suffolk".
Ricardo de Calno transformed into Sir Richard de Calne and the children would have possessed only one lung and would have had a type of dermal "fiber" unknown at the time. A detail of this story would instead be the description of their underground world which, illuminated by a luminescent bubble, would give life and color to the biological entities present underground.
A Spanish author identifies what the girl described as a "wide-width current" and "big noise" as mysterious events linked to the town of Banyoles and its lake that sank after an earthquake, after which it is not known where the water can escape.
Let's go back to the myth of underground worlds and the strange green lights of the wells that often appear in all the legends of the globe... Perhaps there is still some civilized and technological race that lives and progresses under our feet?
