The Kayapó
The Kayapó tribe is an ancient population that inhabits the unexplored expanses of the Amazon. The ancient legends and mythologies of this people tell and explain the veneration for a god whose name was "Bep Kororoti", who similarly to the many cults of deities who came from the heavens who reigned and disappeared from the earth, arrived in ancient times and lived together with the indigenous, eventually leaving without a trace except in mythology.
It is said that this god dressed in very strange clothes, which covered him from head to toe, perhaps an ancient space suit, and that he possessed an instrument from which he could make lightning come out...
Our imagination helps us very little: we can immediately think of a type of laser weapon, very similar in description to the "Shamir" that Moses used.
This divinity would have educated men in hunting, agriculture and breeding (a cliché, that of the divinity to which we owe the civilization of prehistoric man), he would also have imparted stratagems and techniques, in the end to start again between fire and flames, returning to the heavens.
Even today the kajappos celebrate a great festival every year in honor of this divinity: a priest identifies himself with the divine myth and dresses in a strange straw dress.
Everything would seem normal in the cult, if the Kajappos were not referring to events from about 25,000 years ago.
