- 1 teaspoon oil (for stir-frying)
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon chopped jalapeño pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon white pepper powder
Instructions:
- Begin by preparing the chicken wings. Separate them into drumettes and wingettes, removing the tips.
- In a bowl, marinate the chicken wings with 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of white pepper powder, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, and 1 tablespoon of cooking wine. Allow them to marinate for one hour.
- Dice half a cup each of red bell pepper, green bell pepper, red onion, and yellow onion. Set them aside.
- Heat a pot with cooking oil (about 2 inches deep) over medium heat for deep frying.
- Add 4-6 tablespoons of cornstarch to the marinated chicken wings, ensuring each piece is well coated.
- Deep fry the chicken wings in the hot oil until they turn crispy and golden brown, which should take approximately 6-7 minutes. Once done, set the chicken wings aside.
- In a separate cooking pan, heat 1 teaspoon of oil over medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon of minced garlic and 1 tablespoon of chopped jalapeño pepper.
