Oceanic Delight: Steamed Seafood Medley with Zesty Ginger and Garlic
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons minced ginger
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 4 tablespoons chopped scallions
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 4 small packages of cellophane noodles (soaked until soft)
- 1 fresh lobster (cut in half)
- 1/2 pound clams
- 1/2 pound mussels
- 1/2 pound jumbo prawns
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- Fresh cilantro (for garnish)
Instructions:
- In a bowl, combine the minced garlic, minced ginger, chopped scallions, and salt.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of oil until hot, then pour it over the garlic-ginger mixture. Mix well.
- Arrange the soaked cellophane noodles on the bottom of a large bowl.
- Place the clams, mussels, and jumbo prawns on top of the noodles.
- Position the lobster halves on the very top, and evenly spread the garlic-ginger sauce over the seafood.
- Pour the chicken broth into the bowl.
- Carefully place the bowl into a steamer set on high heat, and steam for about 16 minutes.
- Once steamed, remove from the steamer and garnish with freshly chopped cilantro.
- Your Oceanic Delight steamed seafood medley is now ready to be served. Enjoy!
