Sautéed Chicken in White Sauce
Sautéed Chicken in White Sauce
- Cut 2 pieces of chicken breast into slices
- Mix 1 tsp of salt, 1 tsp of white pepper powder, 2 Tbsp of cornstarch mixed with 2 Tbsp of water with chicken, then add 1 Tbsp of oil. Let the chicken marinate for few hours
- Cut 4 cups of broccoli, set aside
- Boil a pot of hot water, add 1 tsp of salt and 1 tsp of oil, then add broccoli boil for a minute, take it out set on serving plate.
- Medium heat cooking pan with 1 Tbsp of oil and 1 Tbsp of minced garlic
- Add chicken stir fry for few minutes, add 1 Tbsp of oyster sauce, 1 tsp of sugar, then add 1.5 cup of chicken broth
- Cook until the sauce boil, add cornstarch mixed with water to thicken the sauce, then add 2 beaten egg white
- Continue cook for a minute, then add 1 tsp of sesame oil.
- Pour the chicken and egg white sauce on top of the broccoli. Ready to serve.
Marinade Ingredients:
- 2 pieces of chicken breast, sliced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp white pepper powder
- 2 Tbsp cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp water
- 1 Tbsp oil
Cooking Ingredients:
- 4 cups broccoli, cut
- 1 tsp salt (for boiling water)
- 1 tsp oil (for boiling water)
- 1 Tbsp oil (for stir-frying)
- 1 Tbsp minced garlic
- 1 Tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1.5 cups chicken broth
- Cornstarch mixed with water (for thickening)
- 2 egg whites, beaten
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Instructions:
- In a bowl, combine the sliced chicken breast with 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp white pepper powder, and the mixture of 2 Tbsp cornstarch and 2 Tbsp water. Mix well.
- Add 1 Tbsp of oil to the marinating mixture and ensure the chicken is evenly coated. Allow the chicken to marinate for a few hours.
- Cut the broccoli into florets and set them aside.
- Bring a pot of water to boil. Add 1 tsp of salt and 1 tsp of oil to the boiling water. Add the broccoli for about a minute. Remove and place the blanched broccoli on a serving plate.
- Heat a cooking pan over medium heat. Add 1 Tbsp of oil and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
- Add the marinated chicken to the pan and stir-fry for a few minutes until the chicken is cooked and slightly browned.
- Stir in 1 Tbsp of oyster sauce and 1 tsp of sugar, then pour in 1.5 cups of chicken broth.
- Allow the mixture to come to a boil. In a separate bowl, mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry. Add the slurry to the pan to thicken the sauce.
- Gradually pour the beaten egg whites into the pan while stirring gently. Continue to cook for about a minute until the egg whites are fully cooked.
- Finish by adding 1 tsp of sesame oil to enhance the flavor.
- Pour the chicken and egg white sauce over the blanched broccoli on the serving plate.
- Your Chicken Breast Stir Fry with Egg White Sauce is now ready to be served.
