Beef and Vegetable Stir-Fry with Noodles (Beef Lo Mein)
Marinade Ingredients:
- 8 oz beef sirloin, sliced
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- Pinch of white pepper powder
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp oil
Cooking Ingredients:
- 2 cups broccoli, cut into small pieces
- 2 cups Napa cabbage, cut into small pieces
- 1 cup carrot, cut into small pieces
- 1 box fresh Chinese noodles, pre-cooked
- 1 Tbsp oil
- 1 Tbsp minced garlic
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- Pinch of white pepper powder
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Instructions:
- In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with 1 Tbsp of soy sauce, a pinch of white pepper powder, 1 Tbsp of cornstarch, and 1 Tbsp of oil. Mix well to marinate the beef. Set aside for 15 minutes.
- Cut the broccoli, Napa cabbage, and carrot into small pieces and set them aside.
- Pre-cook the Chinese noodles according to the instructions on the box. Set aside.
- Heat a cooking pan over medium heat and add 1 Tbsp of oil along with the minced garlic.
- Add the marinated beef to the pan and stir-fry for a couple of minutes until browned.
- Add the cut vegetables to the pan and continue cooking for a few more minutes until they are tender-crisp. Remove the beef and vegetables from the pan.
- In the same pan, add 1 Tbsp of oil and then add the pre-cooked noodles.
- Stir-fry the noodles for a few minutes, ensuring they are heated through and well-coated with the oil.
- Return the cooked beef and vegetables to the pan with the noodles.
- Add 1 Tbsp of soy sauce, 1 Tbsp of oyster sauce, 1 tsp of sugar, and a pinch of white pepper powder to the pan. Mix well to coat the noodles, beef, and vegetables with the sauce.
- Drizzle 1 tsp of sesame oil over the dish and give it a final stir.
- Your Beef and Vegetable Stir-Fry with Noodles is now ready to be served.
