Spicy Honey Walnut Shrimp
Ingredients:
* 20 pieces of shrimp, peeled and deveined
* 1 tsp salt
* 1 tsp white pepper powder
* 3 Tbsp cornstarch
* 1 Tbsp oil
* 1 cup walnuts
* 3 Tbsp oil (for cooking)
* 3 Tbsp mayonnaise
* 1.5 Tbsp honey
* 1 tsp sriracha
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, combine the shrimp, salt, white pepper powder, cornstarch, and 1 Tbsp of oil. Mix well to ensure the shrimp is evenly coated. Set aside for marination.
2. Preheat a cooking pan over medium heat. Add the walnuts and roast them for a few minutes until fragrant. Remove the walnuts from the pan and set them aside.
3. In the same cooking pan, add 3 Tbsp of oil. Once the oil is heated, add the marinated shrimp. Cook the shrimp for a few minutes until they turn golden brown. Remove the shrimp from the pan and set them aside.
4. In a large bowl, combine the mayonnaise, honey, sriracha, and 1 tsp of salt. Mix well to create a spicy honey sauce.
5. Add the roasted walnuts and cooked shrimp to the bowl with the spicy honey sauce. Gently toss and stir until all the shrimp and walnuts are well coated with the sauce.
6. The Spicy Honey Walnut Shrimp is now ready to be served. Transfer it to a serving dish and enjoy!
Note: You can garnish the dish with sliced green onions or sesame seeds for added flavor and presentation, if desired.
