Sautéed Shrimp, Beef and Chicken with Tofu
Ingredients:
* 6 oz beef sirloin, cut into pieces
* 6 oz chicken breast, cut into pieces
* 6 pieces of shrimp, deveined and shells removed
* 1 box of medium-firm tofu, cut into square pieces
* 1 tbsp soy sauce
* Pinch of white pepper powder
* 1 tsp cornstarch
* 2 tbsp oil (divided)
* 1 tbsp minced garlic
* 1 tbsp oyster sauce
* 1 tbsp cooking wine
* 1 tsp sugar
* 1.5 cups chicken broth
* 1 tsp sesame oil
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, marinate the beef with 1 tbsp soy sauce, a pinch of white pepper powder, 1 tsp cornstarch, and 1 tbsp oil. Set aside.
2. In another bowl, marinate the chicken with 1 tsp salt, a pinch of white pepper powder, 1 tsp cornstarch, and 1 tbsp oil. Set aside.
3. In a separate bowl, marinate the shrimp with 1 tsp salt, a pinch of white pepper powder, 1 tsp cornstarch, and 1 tbsp oil. Set aside.
4. Heat a cooking pan over medium heat and add 3 tbsp of oil. Pan-fry the tofu until golden brown on both sides. Remove from the pan and drain any excess oil. Set aside.
5. In the same pan, add 1 tbsp of oil and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
6. Add the beef and chicken to the pan and stir-fry for a few minutes. Then add the shrimp and cook for another minute. Remove all the meat from the pan and set aside.
7. Using the same pan, add the tofu. Then add 1 tbsp of soy sauce, 1 tbsp of oyster sauce, 1 tbsp of cooking wine, 1 tsp of sugar, and 1.5 cups of chicken broth.
8. Close the lid and cook for 5 minutes. Then add the beef, chicken, and shrimp back to the pan and continue cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.
9. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry. Add the slurry to the pan to thicken the sauce.
10. Finally, drizzle 1 tsp of sesame oil over the dish. Stir well.
11. The sautéed shrimp, beef, chicken, and tofu stir-fry is now ready to serve.
