Baked Chicken Legs Quarters
Baked Chicken Legs Quarters
Ingredients:
* 3 chicken leg quarters
* 1 tablespoon minced garlic
* 1 tablespoon minced ginger
* 1 tablespoon soy sauce
* 1 teaspoon white pepper powder
* 1 tablespoon cooking wine
* 2 tablespoons cornstarch
* 1 tablespoon oil
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, combine minced garlic, minced ginger, soy sauce, white pepper powder, cooking wine, cornstarch, and oil. Mix well to create a marinade.
2. Place the chicken leg quarters in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure that all sides of the chicken are coated evenly. Let it marinate for a few hours to allow the flavors to develop.
3. Preheat the air-fryer to 380˚F (190˚C).
4. Once the chicken has marinated, place the leg quarters in the air-fryer basket, making sure they are not overcrowded. Cook for 20 minutes, flipping them halfway through to ensure even cooking.
5. After 20 minutes, increase the heat of the air-fryer to 400˚F (200˚C). Cook the chicken for an additional 8 minutes, this time with the skin side facing up. This will help crisp up the skin.
6. Once the cooking time is complete, carefully remove the chicken leg quarters from the air-fryer and transfer them to a serving plate.
7. Allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes before serving.
8. Serve the deliciously baked chicken leg quarters as a main dish alongside your favorite sides or enjoy them on their own.
Note: Cooking times may vary depending on the air-fryer model and size of the chicken leg quarters. Adjust the cooking time accordingly to ensure the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165˚F (74˚C).
