Sautéed Dried Anchovy with Jalapeño Pepper
1. Begin by cutting 2 large jalapeño peppers into strips. Remove the seeds and set them aside.
2. Heat a cooking pan over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of oil along with 4 cloves of minced garlic.
3. Stir-fry the cut jalapeño peppers for about a minute. Then, add 2.5 ounces of dried anchovies (medium size).
4. Continue stir-frying for a few minutes and then add 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of cooking wine, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and 1 tablespoon of sesame oil.
5. Increase the heat to high and sauté the mixture for a final minute. Your dish is now ready to be served.
