Sautéed Shrimp and Squids with Cucumber
Ingredients:
* 12 shrimp, deveined and shell removed
* 8 pieces of squid, diagonally cut on the back
* 1 large seedless cucumber (English cucumber), cut into large chunks
* 1 Tbsp oil
* 1 Tbsp minced ginger
* 1 cup chicken broth
* Pinch of salt
* 1 Tbsp cornstarch mixed with water (for thickening the sauce)
* 1 tsp sesame oil
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, marinate the shrimp with 1 tsp salt, pinch of white pepper powder, 1 Tbsp cornstarch, and 1 Tbsp oil. Set aside for about 15 minutes.
2. In a separate bowl, marinate the squid with 1 tsp salt, pinch of white pepper powder, 1 tsp cornstarch, and 1 tsp oil. Set aside for about 15 minutes.
3. Cut the large seedless cucumber (English cucumber) into large chunks and set aside.
4. Heat a cooking pan over medium heat and add oil and minced ginger.
5. Add the marinated shrimp to the pan and sauté for 30 seconds.
6. Then, add the marinated squid and cucumber to the pan and continue sautéing for about a minute.
7. Pour in the chicken broth and add a pinch of salt. Cook until it comes to a boil.
8. In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with water to make a slurry. Add the slurry to the pan to thicken the sauce.
9. Stir in the sesame oil.
10. Your Sautéed Shrimp and Squids with Cucumber is now ready to be served. Enjoy!
