Grilled Moroccan Chicken Skewers
Ingredients:
* 4 chicken breasts, cut into large chunks
* 4 Tbsp Moroccan seasoning (ratio: 2 Tbsp per pound of chicken)
* Moroccan seasoning (combination of ground cumin, paprika, ground coriander, ground turmeric, ground allspice, ground cloves, ground ginger, and ground cinnamon)
* 1 yellow onion, cut into pieces
* 1/2 orange bell pepper, cut into pieces
* 1/2 yellow bell pepper, cut into pieces
* Salt (to taste)
* Oil (for spraying/brushing)
Instructions:
1. Cut the chicken breasts into large chunks.
2. Season the chicken with 4 Tbsp of Moroccan seasoning. Ensure the seasoning is evenly distributed on all sides of the chicken. Let it marinate for a few hours.
3. Moroccan seasoning is a combination of ground cumin, paprika, ground coriander, ground turmeric, ground allspice, ground cloves, ground ginger, and ground cinnamon.
4. Cut the yellow onion, orange bell pepper, and yellow bell pepper into pieces. Set them aside.
5. Randomly thread the chicken, yellow onion, and bell peppers onto skewers.
6. Spray or brush a layer of oil on a medium-heat skillet or grill pan. Place the chicken skewers on the pan and continue to cook until they are well done. Rotate the skewers regularly to ensure even cooking.
7. Sprinkle salt over the cooked skewers according to your taste preferences. You may also spray a bit more oil halfway through the cooking process to prevent sticking.
