Stir-Fried Beef with Broccoli

Marinating Ingredients:

  • 8 oz Sirloin Beef, sliced
  • 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp White Pepper Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp Oil

Cooking Ingredients:

  • 2 Tbsp Oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic, chopped
  • 1 head Broccoli, cut into small florets
  • 1 small Carrot, peeled and sliced thinly
  • 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Oyster Sauce
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Chicken Broth
  • 1 tsp Cornstarch, mixed with 1 Tbsp Water
  • 1 tsp Sesame Oil

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the beef by combining soy sauce, white pepper powder, cornstarch, and oil in a bowl. Add sliced beef and mix well. Let it marinate for at least 20 minutes.
  2. In a pot, boil water and blanch broccoli and carrot for a minute. Drain and set aside.
  3. Heat a wok or large frying pan over medium heat. Add 2 tablespoons of oil and chopped garlic. Stir-fry until fragrant.
  4. Add the marinated beef to the pan and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, or until it changes color.
  5. Add the blanched broccoli and carrot to the pan and stir-fry for another minute.
  6. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and chicken broth. Mix well and bring to a boil.
  7. Add the cornstarch mixture to thicken the sauce. Stir well to combine.
  8. Drizzle with sesame oil and stir to combine.
  9. Serve hot with steamed rice. Enjoy your delicious Stir-Fried Beef with Broccoli!
