Stir-Fried Beef with Broccoli
Marinating Ingredients:
- 8 oz Sirloin Beef, sliced
- 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 tsp White Pepper Powder
- 1 Tbsp Cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp Oil
Cooking Ingredients:
- 2 Tbsp Oil
- 3 cloves Garlic, chopped
- 1 head Broccoli, cut into small florets
- 1 small Carrot, peeled and sliced thinly
- 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 Tbsp Oyster Sauce
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1/4 cup Chicken Broth
- 1 tsp Cornstarch, mixed with 1 Tbsp Water
- 1 tsp Sesame Oil
Instructions:
- Marinate the beef by combining soy sauce, white pepper powder, cornstarch, and oil in a bowl. Add sliced beef and mix well. Let it marinate for at least 20 minutes.
- In a pot, boil water and blanch broccoli and carrot for a minute. Drain and set aside.
- Heat a wok or large frying pan over medium heat. Add 2 tablespoons of oil and chopped garlic. Stir-fry until fragrant.
- Add the marinated beef to the pan and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, or until it changes color.
- Add the blanched broccoli and carrot to the pan and stir-fry for another minute.
- Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and chicken broth. Mix well and bring to a boil.
- Add the cornstarch mixture to thicken the sauce. Stir well to combine.
- Drizzle with sesame oil and stir to combine.
