DnA 8-7: Canadian Cigarette Tax Anarchy

Hi folks, my name is Blood Sucker and I'm from Quebec City. I've joined DnA Team as a Canadian Writer/Informator so here is what is going on here:
It all started one day (some years ago) when some smugglers saw that the price for cartons of cigarettes in Canada was too expensive... This is the story...The provinces of Quebec, Ontario, and New-Brunswick have the biggest problem.
The Fed. Government has lost over 2 Billion Dollars from sales of contraband cigarettes . Some Mohawk and Huron Indians were selling cartons for half the going price before. They were selling 'em For less money(20$/carton). Resellers were selling them to us, the smokers. The price of Contraband Cigs was between $3.00-$5.00 while the legal ones cost $6.00-$7.50 . After the 8th of Feburary, the Feds realized that nobody was going to buy legal cigarettes. That's when they decided it was time to cut prices!
The prices have been cut by 54% . Here is a chart that covers the evolution of cigarette (carton) prices:

Someone has to draw the line somewhere against this nutsy Ottawa-Quebec Scheme to lower the prices of Cancer Causing Cigarettes . The mighty waters of The Bay Of Fundy ( and the Trans-Canada highway West of Ontario) are as good A place as any for this newest Maginot Line. Keep your hearts pure and your powder dry.
The Nova Scotia decision to keep provincial cigarette prices high while neighboring New-Brunswick folded like a cheap tent is what you might expect from a cabinet containing three medical doctors, one of them the Premier John Savage.
Still, it won't be easy to stop a flood of cheap cigs from entering the province from next door, though Nova Scotia has had plenty of experience in erecting funny little barriers to regional trade.
The moral argument didn't work with Quebekers : Some of 'em even made a show of buying contraband cigarettes in a church parking lot last month. But you never know with Nova Scotians. All the ones we've met have been as straight as the day is long . They've had to be, to keep sometimes-shady governments from typing over too much the other way.
B.S.-=[ The Federal Government is also planning to employ up to 50 new smoke police (health inspectors actually, at a cost of $2.5 million) This means another fucking thing that we Canadians will have to pay for with our taxes...]=-
Anyway Now The Packs Are 2.80$ for Normal Sizes And 2.85$ for King Sizes.
Before they cut down their prices people had to be older than 16 to buy cigs. Now it's 18 years old, but nobody in Canada gives a fuck, because nobody Is respecting this Law... That means that you can be 5 Years old and smoke as much as you want... THIS IS LIBERTY!!! Anarchy in action!
