Combination Sweet Potato Noodles
Marinating Ingredients:
- 8 oz sirloin beef, cut into small pieces
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- Pinch of white pepper powder
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch mixed with 1 Tbsp water
- 1 Tbsp oil
Cooking Ingredients:
- 1/2 package sweet potato noodles
- 8 pieces of shrimp, deveined
- 8 oz squid, cut in cross-diagonal
- 4 cups Napa cabbage, cut into small pieces
- 1 cup carrot, cut into small pieces
- 1 Tbsp oil
- 1 Tbsp minced garlic
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Instructions:
- Soak the sweet potato noodles in water until they are soft. Set them aside.
- In a bowl, marinate the beef with soy sauce, white pepper powder, cornstarch mixture, and oil. Mix well and set aside for a few hours.
- Devein the shrimp and set them aside.
- Cut the squid into cross-diagonal pieces and set them aside.
- Cut the Napa cabbage and carrot into small pieces and set them aside.
- In a medium heat cooking pot, add oil and minced garlic. Once the garlic is fragrant, add the marinated beef and cook until brown.
- Add the cut cabbage, carrot, and sweet potato noodles. Pour in soy sauce and chicken broth. Mix well.
- Close the lid and let it cook for 4-5 minutes.
- Add the shrimp and squid. Continue cooking for a few more minutes, making sure not to burn the bottom.
- Add sesame oil and mix well.
- Serve hot.
