ZEN SUTRA - San Ki Kai - The Threefold Refuge
SAN KI KAI
The Threefold Refuge
JAPANESE:
NA MU KI E BUTSU NA MU KI E HO
NA MU KI E SO KI E BUTSU MU JO SON
KI E BUK KYO KI E HO KYO KI E SO KYO
I take refuge in the Buddha;
I take refuge in the Dharma;
I take refuge in the Sangha.
I take refuge in the Buddha, the incomparably honored one;
I take refuge in the Dharma, honorable for its purity;
I take refuge in the Sangha, honorable for its harmonious life.
I have finished taking refuge in the Buddha;
I have finished taking refuge in the Dharma;
I have finished taking refuge in the Sangha.
