It is the Sumerian demon of the loss of knowledge (1). LU UB, the fava -symbol of 'man-god' union-, clarifies the importance of the lobe in ancient hierogamy (2): ANTASUBBA is the demon transmitted to us by 'Indo-European' dictionaries, which deny it.

This demon seems to point us to the antithetical name of the god Antares. Antares is the origin of the year (3). Antasubba is the end of knowledge, that is, its cultural symmetrical.

If the wedges scanned us AN TAS UB BA (4), then the LCSS (5) makes us read Babu Satàn.

Papè Satàn, Papè Satàn Aleppe, wrote Dante: since the Hurrites modified the Sumerian 'b' to 'p,' I would say that papè is worth babu. The 'babau' of babies seems the same subject, as well as the 'buh!' of fear. Since Satan is a NU DIM MUD (6), a Deceptive Artificer, we need to be careful.

UB, we have seen (2) is divine 'perfection'. TASH is in TASH RI TU, the Libra, i.e., the Libra-ancia. Circular perfection is KI LIB: a circle was drawn, before a temple was founded, to include the sacred, RU A, and exclude demons (7).
BIB BU is the executioner of the Underworld (8).
Use a search engine; search the Internet for 'babu satan'. You will find sites in Babu's name..talking about Satan. Evidently Babu is an initiatory name and Satan indicates the Satanist site (9).

  1. "It has also been mentioned that different types of illnesses can be personified by taking on the character of demons, e.g. Antasubba 'loss of knowledge,' Kadibbitu, 'loss of speech,' Zitarrutu, 'loss of life' [.]" G.PETTINATO, angels and demons in Babylon, magic and myth in ancient Mesopotamian societies, 2001 A. Mondadori, Milan, p. 123.
  2. LU UB, ns. article, 05/19/02. http://www.siagrio.it/Antares/antares.html
  3. It is the first southern star of the Milky Way, the Guardian of the Way of Anu, for the Babylonians, Anu himself for the Akkadians. The new year was set by the heliacal rising of Antares for Adriano GASPANI*Silvia CERNUTI, The Astronomy of the Celts, 1997 Keltia Ed., Aosta.
  4. Each syllable corresponds to a logogram. The ANTASUBBA continuous transcription fits our usage, but does not allow us to trace the original scan.
  5. Circular Reading of Sumerian Writing: AN TAS UB BA read BA BU SAT AN clarifies the lectoral technique.
  6. NU DIMMUD, artifice creator, in Sumerian, invites me to scan: NU, create, DIM, conceive, MUD, the false, false blood. Also: NU DI IM MU UD -NU, create, DI, say, IM, false/create, MU, man, UD, shadow. http://users.nurgle.net/~slayer/religion/dictionary.shtml . DUMU DIM DIM MA is 'to daughter'. "To get rid of the evils thus intervened, therefore, it was necessary to remove the demon or demons responsible, identified according to criteria that completely escape us. To this end, a whole technique was devised, illustrated and prescribed by the great master of techniques, the god Enki/Ea (Enki in Sumerian, Ea in Akkadian)." John PETTINATO, Angels and Demons in Babylon, Magic and Myth in Ancient Mesopotamian Civilizations, 2001 A. Mondadori, Milan, p. 15.
  7. "It is now very interesting that in such a hymn [of foundation of the sanctuary of Girsu by Umanse, ruler Lagas] are contained elements of a magical character, such as the definition of the area of construction in a Magick that was supposed to prevent demons and other infernal beings from entering that would violate its purity and sacredness." G. PETTINATO, op. cit., p. 81.
  8. "By his lofty and unchanging order may Bibbu, the executioner of the Underworld, hand you over to the doorkeeper Lugalsula so that he may get you out of the gate of Istar and Aja." G. PETTINATO, op. cit., p. 125.
