Sweet and Sour Pork
Sweet and Sour Pork
- Cut 1 pound of pork sirloins into small pieces (one inch cube)
- Season pork with 1 tsp of salt, pinch of white pepper powder, 2 Tbsp cornstarch mixed with water and 1 Tbsp of oil for few hours
- Cut half green bell pepper, half red bell pepper and half yellow onion into small pieces. Set aside.
- Slightly use cornstarch to cover each pieces of pork.
- Medium heat deep fry pork in hot oil until it turns crispy (3-5 minutes), take it out sit for few minutes
- Turn temperature to high heat, put the pork back to deep fry for 2 additional minutes, then add cut peppers and onion continue cook for 30 seconds. Take it out set aside
- Mix 2 cup of water with 3 Tbsp of sugar, 1 Tbsp of rice vinegar and 2 Tbsp of ketchup in a bowl
- Heat up the sauce until boil. Add cornstarch mixed with water to thicken the sauce
- Mix the sweet and sour sauce with the pork. Ready to serve
