Giant skeletons
According to canonical history, civilization was born in Mesopotamia around 3000 BC and has developed in a linear fashion to the present day. But not everything went as history tells us, and we have already described some historical inconsistencies on this site. There are similar memories and legends in many peoples in all parts of the globe, one such legend goes back to the earliest times and concerns giant men who lived in the distant past. Just legends?
Let us start with the Bible where we find references to giants. When the Jews arrived in the promised land they found in Rabbath the iron bed of a giant who had disappeared "by the sons of Ammon...it was nine cubits long and four cubits wide..." (Deuteronomy3:3/11), or in Numbers XIII:33 "and behold, we saw the giants the sons of Anak descended from the giants, and in our eyes we were before them like crickets-and in their eyes we were like crickets." And again in Job XXVI:5 "the Rephaims the dead beings are under the water, and the ancient inhabitants of the earth...." The quotations in the Bible are many and unnecessary to the theological narrative of the book, yet we find traces of them in many verses and often without any particular meaning, as inserted at random. Genesis 4; Numbers 13; Deuteronomy 3; Joshua 12:13,15,17; Samuel 2:21; Chronicles 1:20; Jacob 26; Revelation 20. They occur as historical quotations inserted into the narrated facts, without any dogmatic utility. In Genesis 4:1,4: "and it came to pass that men began to multiply and daughters were born to them. That the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful, and they took for wives those whom they chose. And the lord said, they shall live to be 120 years old, at that time there were giants on the earth, and afterwards when the sons of god joined themselves to the daughters of men and had sons, these sons became mighty men and were celebrated heroes in ancient times."
Other references to giants are found in other ancient cultures, in the Greek myths we find the myths of Atlas and Prometheus and the Cyclops , but also among the Syrians and Hittites we find myths of an ancient race of giants, but often history turns into myth and legend, so giants are confused with gods, thus at Ras Sham Ra we find tablets in which it is said that Baal was killed by invaders, but Baal was a giant and only in later ages was he seen as an evil god. So Baal was a giant, like the giant Goliath slain by David.
But clashes between men and giants are found in many ancient cultures, in the Bible Deuteronomy 3:3/11 or in Greek culture or even in Norse myths where the gods of Asgard fight against the race of giants defeating them. But in the myths it is also narrated that the race of giants and the race of men united giving rise to a race of semi-giants, perhaps the origin of legends about demigods such as Heracles. The gods of Asgard themselves were probably children of giants and men, and their rebellion against the giant rulers led to the birth of the ancient legends.
Legends found in every part of the world, in India, in Thailand, in America (the Mayans spoke of the giants Quinatezmin), in the "Mexican Manuscript of Pedro de los Rios" we read, "Before the flood that occurred 4008 years after the creation of the world, the Land of Anahuac was inhabited by the Tzocuillixeco, giant beings...," as well as we find depictions of giants in ancient temples, statues of beings 4-6 meters tall or more. Just a way of depicting characters who were wanted to be given importance, the size of the statue represented the size of the character...perhaps.
Yet evidence for the existence of giants is clearly visible and tangible all over the world.
In 1577 in Willisau, Lucerne, Switzerland, a skeleton with huge bones came to light. The committee of experts headed by the famous Helvetic anatomist Felix Plater from Basel studied the case and was puzzled, and Plater himself declared that it was without a shadow of a doubt human remains, despite the fact that the size was cyclopean. He reconstructed on clay "the giant of Lucerne" and his bones were displayed in the town hall.
Conquistadores Hernan Cortes, the man who subdued Mexico, shipped to the king of Spain, along with fabulous treasures, a "femur as tall as a human being."
In the chronicles of another conquistador, Fernando de Alba, however, it is reported verbatim that "in Mexico the remains of giants could be found anywhere."
In 1810 a giant skeleton with six fingers and a huge skull was found in California. In the legends of the Native American Omaha tribe, the legend of the Mu-a-lusha, giant beings who had arrived millennia earlier from across the Pacific Ocean, is passed down, and in 1870 skulls measuring 60 cm were found in that area. Skeletons of giant propotions were also found in the Aluetine Islands. Some legends of the peoples living around Lake Titicaca also speak of giants: in them they speak of how tribes of giants had migrated south and how their descendants had populated Patagonia, where Magellan met them : they were men "so tall that the heads of the crew members barely reached their waists and their voice was that of a bull...."
But from all over the world there are reports of incredible finds, in Gargayan, Philippines, a 5.18-meter skeleton was unearthed, in Ceylon, some 4-meter skeletons, while in Pakistan the skeleton was 3.5 meters high.
Giant human teeth have been found in Peru, China (where they are called "dragon teeth") and also in Italy.
In 1925 in Glozel (near Vichy - Allier, France) Emile Frendin literally sank into the field where he was working, and found "The Field of the Dead": Some 3,000 objects of all kinds, jewelry, pottery, tools, and bone and wood artifacts dating from 15-17,000 B.C.
Recall that according to official history the earliest documented writing system is the Sumero-Akkadian system, dating back to the 4th millennium B.C.E. The pottery shows a very refined artistic sense, so much so that the mouthless statues led to that period being called the "civilization of silence." Alongside all these jewelry were found bones of beings about five meters other.
We conclude our roundup with the discovery that occurred in 1663 the town of Tiriolo (in the province of Catanzaro) where during some excavations a tomb of gigantic size was unearthed, and inside it an equally large skeleton.
The physician Giovanni Battista Cappucci wrote to Marcello Malpighi, (a great Bolognese physician, teacher at the universities of Pisa, Messina, Bologna, and archiater of Pope Innocent XII) "in a very ancient sepulchre opened in the countryside of Tiriolo ... innatante in notable amounts of wax" was found "the bones of gigantic corpse; rumor has it that it was fifteen palms in stature, " but it seems that Malpighi never saw the skeleton and in his writings we find, "I hoped in the coming April to have matter to write to V. H.E., a long letter about the discovery of a very ancient sepulchre opened in the countryside of Tiriolo land of this Province, and in it of a gigantic corpse bones innatante in a notable amount of cerumen, the exhibition of which was also brought all the way to Naples to Sr. Tommaso Cornelio under the name of balsam, and I saw some minutiae of it, which examined on the outside seemed to be a thickened, and aged brown pitch, but in the fire gave off a better odor than common pitch. Hence I began to suspect that it was a mixture of pitch and other pitch of better smoke. A tooth also was promised me from the same corpse, which rumor has it was fifteen palms in stature.... Our Mr. Giovanni Battista Abati, who from Catanzaro is closer to Tiriolo than I am, could have better informed himself, but he incarparbito a tenere il riporto menzogna et il cerume e l'ossa imposture o favolosi, non ha voluto impicciarearsi... per separare dal falso il vero, se di quello, come è solito in tutte le novità, vi è misura notabile nella storia."
So official science hindered the research by once again pushing a fantastic find into oblivion, but fortunately traces of the very ancient civilization of giants emerge in all parts of the globe.
Is the giants' writing the only strain from which all known languages arose?
Are they the progenitors of humans or are we an entirely different race?
Judging from the findings there is a continuom between the ancient race and our own, we probably owe to them all the ancient knowledge that has come down to us and the ancient cyclopean monuments that still exist in every corner of the planet and leave one marveling at the skill with which they were built.
