Seafood In Tomato-Butter Sauce
- Prepare 1 pound of fresh clams, 1 pound of fresh mussels, 1 pound of shrimp and 2 medium size octopus.
- Soak clams and mussels with salt water to get rid of the sand, rinse well set aside
- Peel and devein shrimp, set aside
- Clean octopus by remove head and cut into small pieces
- Chop one yellow onion, 8 cloves of garlic into small pieces. Set aside
- Medium heat cooking pot with 1 Tbsp of oil
- Add chopped yellow onion and garlic cook to golden brown
- Add 1 can of diced tomato, 3 Tbsp of butter, 1 tsp of thyme, 1 tsp of oregano, 1 tsp of salt, 1 tsp of black pepper and 2 cups of chicken broth
- Cook until butter melt and boil, then add clams and octopus for 5 minutes first
- Add mussels continue cook for 7-10 minutes until all clams and mussels open up.
- Add shrimp and 1 fresh squeeze lemon juice cook for additional minute. Ready to serve
