I guess, but really the economic crisis in my area was very very bad, most of the construction companies had to close and the banks took over the buildings, they could not sell them either so most of them were there in standby for 10/15 years
everyone has 2 or 3 houses, they could not rent or sell anymore so they would loose them too

before the crisis the banks were giving you more than the 120% of the value of the property in a mortgage

it was like get a new house and buy your dreams car
