Sautéed Beef with Celery
Sautéed Beef with Celery
- Cut 6-8 oz of sirloin beef into slices
- Marinate beef with 1 Tbsp of soy sauce, half tsp of white pepper powder, 1 Tbsp of cornstarch and 1 Tbsp of oil for few hours
- Cut half yellow onion, 1 large carrot and 6 sticks of celery into strip. Set aside
- Cut 5 scallions into 2 inches length, set aside
- Medium heat cooking pan with 1 Tbsp of oil and 1 Tbsp of minced garlic
- Add beef stir-fry to medium, take it out set aside
- Turn to high heat, add cut onion first stir-fry for a minute, then add carrot and celery continue stir-fry for another minute
- Add 1 Tbsp of soy sauce, 1 Tbsp of Hoisin sauce, 1 tbsp of sugar, half tsp of black pepper
- Add beef and cut scallions continue stir-fry for few more minutes
- Add 1 tsp of sesame oil, ready to serve
