Mexican Shrimp Cocktail
Mexican Shrimp Cocktail
- Chop half red onion, 2 tomatoes, 1 English cucumber, 2 jalapeño pepper and 2 celery sticks into small pieces, set aside
- Boil half pound of medium shrimp in hot water for few minutes, then rinse it with cold water
- Peel and devein shrimp, set aside
- Mix all chopped vegetables with shrimp. then add 1 fresh squeeze lime juice, half cup of ketchup, 2 cups of ground tomato, 1 can of cooked clam with juice
- Add 1 tsp of salt, 1 tsp of black pepper, 1 tsp of sugar and 2 tsp of hot sauce (Mexican)
- Add handful of chopped cilantro and diced avocado (2)
- Put in refrigerator with cover for at least an hour before serving
