Lucent On-line Newsletter Vol. 2-11
BIG NEWS! That's all I can think about as I write this newsletter. What's the BIG NEWS, well I guess you'll just have to read down to the bottom. Hold on I said read to the bottom, no skipping your way there. Hope your Turkey day was good, for us it was a wonderful time spent with our friends and family. OCT 31st CONCERT
The Halloween night concert in Louisville, KY was a great night. We knew the Devil would try to disrupt the concert and did he ever. As the night began the crowd grew into an unexpected 400+. People were standing in the isles of the church. Then all of a sudden the lights went off, and a small spot light slowly moved across the word LUCENT (On our new backdrop, thanks Rachel). Then the spot light shut off, the music hit and their was Paul Pumphrey standing behind a wall of concrete. Just as he was ready to break it, the sound went out. Seems the AC kicked on and we tripped a breaker. Told you the Devil tried to mess things up. It didn't take us long to figure this out and as they say, the show must go on! We got the sound back and the crowd didn't miss a beat; they were great. By the end of the night their was 50 decisions for Christ. What an awesome alter call. I have to admit emotion get the best of me as the crowd was lead in the sinners prayer. It was honestly a life changing experience for all of us and the best part is this was all done on Halloween.

Concert Dates
Glad to announce June 2,3 and 4th of 99' we will again be in Chaumont, NY. This will be a very big event as we are already looking into radio interviews and going into not on 1 or 2 but 3 Jr. and Sr high schools. This summers concert will feature a full concrete program on the 4th and we will ring in independence right.
On a more current date we are scheduled to perform the end of January at Celebration Tabernacle in Clarksville, IN. This church runs our local TBN affiliated station and the concert is to be recorded for possible live TV; not positive on this yet but I have been told it will be recorded for later air play for sure. Please keep in prayer for us as we prepare for this.
The Big News!!!
The news you've been waiting for is finally here. Our CD's are in final production and we are looking at an official release date in February. We have gotten the master CD back from Ardent and it is excellent. We have decided to put the final newsletter of the year devoted totally to the new CD. You will get an in-depth view of the making of the project and what each song is about. I can tell you we have decided to work with Broken Records located at http://www.brokenrecords.com for our Internet distribution. You will be able to purchase our CD's online before our release date. More news on the final project and purchasing in the final issue of this years newsletter.
