We have expanded our news letter to the Flaming Fish Mailing List and some of you may be reading our news letter for the first time. If so, expect to see a new news letter published every month. The news letter will feature devotionals, contests, and who knows what else we may throw in. Please drop us an Email at lucentweb@aol.com requesting to be added to our On-Line mailing list. Our On-Line mailing list members periodically receive updated info about upcoming concerts and contests as they are happening.
If your not familiar with this ministry let me briefly fill you in on who we are. As many of you already know, we are a Christian band that only plays original Christian music. Thunder Ministries INC. is the parent ministry Lucent runs under. Thunder Ministries INC. is based out of „Angels Crossing Church‰; an independent non-denominational church located in Clarksville, IN. Thunder Ministries helps support Lucent with intercessory prayer, bookings, and financial stability. Please keep Thunder Ministries in your prayers.

Most importantly keep us in your prayers. We are doing our best as a Ministry to prepare our hearts to properly minister Gods word. If Gods anointing in not on this ministry then we are doing nothing but making noise. The devil knows we want God to use us, and has been attacking us from every angle. We feel that strong intercessory prayer will make the difference in the battle against Satan. You can help. Become an intercessory prayer partner with Lucent. Holy Ground Cafe
The following is a review of the Concert that took place at the Holy Ground Cafe Saturday the 24th of January.
The Holy Ground Cafe was hosted by Valley View Baptist Church in Louisville, Ky. The evening was set with much anticipated enthusiasm by the artist as well as the Host and all the kids, adults alike. The night started right on time 7pm and we were blessed as Denise Watts Wilson(pastor of LIGHT house Christian fellowship of Lagrange, KY) opened the evenings prayer, then went right into the wonderful praise hymn "HOLY GROUND ", what a blessing she was. Charita Grisham followed up with a wonderful set of songs from her heart, and her testimony of how the lord has brought her & her husband back together & blessed them with many children, with the Holy Spirit right on tap for that one.
The night just warming up and the awesome group of " LUCENT". The night right on course with their upbeat, jump up, jam down, get right with CHRIST message ,.......they fully rocked....!!!! I tell you what, the walls were shaken...and they kicked the devil right out of there.....he was running!! Thanks guys for sharing his message with all.
As the evening rounded down, the group HAND TO HAND cleared the way to push the evening over the top. The kids were jumping and the mosh pit was opened for all well wishers who was seeking the camaraderie of their fellow brethren....they were thumping, bumping, twisting shaken...oh yes and the crowd was getting into as well!!! They peaked out the evening with the theme song" RISING FROM THE ASHES " based on the events of Jan. 17 1997 when their church, ST LUKE catholic church burned to the ground. It was breathtaking. Then they finaled out with their rendition of Grand Funk's " SOME KIND OF WONDERFUL" (with a few altered words) and the traditional party favorite "SHOUT"......everyone was up on their feet lifting his name high!!

Early last year we started work on a new project. The name of the new album is Eclectic. This project is definitely the finest showcase of musical talent Lucent has ever produced. We are currently booking concerts for our 98 schedule. We have press kits and demo tapes featuring our new project available to Pastors, Youth Leaders, and Concert Promoters.
