Lucent On-line Newsletter Vol. 1-3

How is everyone? We pray you received the first couple issues of Lucents on-line news letter. If for some reason you did not, check out the web page. We have the two previous versions accessible from the site. The URL for the page is http://members.aol.com/lucentweb.
Lucent would love to hear from you. Email us with any comments or suggestions you may have. Every piece of mail is read and evaluated by the entire team.

UPDATE
We finally have some good news regarding our ministries van. As you have already heard, our insurance company decided to fix the van. That was two months ago and the last report we heard was the work would take at least another month. Praise God, Craig received a call the other day and the van should be ready in a week or two. Shew, what a mess! Scott is officially never allowed to drive the van again. I'm just kidding, we all give Scott a hard way to go. Besides, after everything that's been replaced, we have a brand new van now. Things do work out for the best in the end. This incident has given all of us on the team time to tie up some loose ends in our personal lives. God really does have everything under control.
I know we have been talking about the demo and the new album forever but we are starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel. Finally, we have the press kit ready and will be printing up the cassette covers late next week. A meeting is scheduled for early this coming week to finalize plans. We will have our press kit and demo ready to mail in a couple of weeks. Praise the Lord, this is the first step in getting the album together for print. If you are interested in receiving one of our demos just Email us and we will send you one.
Just as a reminder we are currently arranging our concert schedule for next year. If you have an event, or need a ministry team, please call us. We would be honored to present the word using music and other styles of ministry with you. Please note peak times of year such as new years, and holidays, usually fill up fast.

GOD STOCK
God Stock was a festival that myself (Ivan) and Mike West got to attend. We joined up with another group called Awesome Power. Awesome Power does feats of strength similar to the kind we do. The whole festival was a great success. Mike and I had a wonderful time. Awesome Power did three shows, the final show ended with the leader and founder of Awesome power, Kevin Simburger, destroying 4 stacks of concrete while on fire. It was "awesome" and God really moved as the alter call was given. There must have been at least 20 to 30 people, maybe even more experience Gods power of salvation from the alter call Awesome Power gave alone. Some other bands that performed was Kenny Marks, Reality Check, and Petra to name a few. Mike and myself had a wonderful time at God Stock and pray we can go back again next year. A PERSONAL NOTE
Congratulations are in order. Craig Pumphrey the founder of Lucent and Thunder Ministries has just become a father. Craig's wife Jennifer gave birth to a 10 pound 1 ounce baby girl. Kyra Nicole Pumphrey measured in at 21 1/2 inches long. She is a week old now and is doing great. Please keep Craig and his wife Jennifer in your prayers as they endeavor to be the parents God intends.
