Chili Shrimp 乾燒蝦
1. Peeled and devein 16 pieces of shrimp.
2. Seasoned with pinch of salt & pepper, 1 Tbsp of corn starch and 1 Tbsp of oil.
3. Chopped 1 yellow onion sand half red bell pepper into small pieces, set aside
4. Medium heat cooking pan with 1 Tbsp of oil with 1 Tbsp of minced garlic
5. Add chopped onion and bell pepper stir-fry for a minute, then add shrimp seared for a minute on each side
6. Add 1 Tbsp of soy sauce, 2 Tbsp of ketchup, 1 Tbsp of red chili paste, half tsp of black pepper, 1 Tbsp of sugar, 1 Tbsp of cooking wine, then half cup of chicken broth
7. Turn to high heat continue cook for 1-2 minutes
8. Add 1 tsp of sesame oil, sprinkle some chopped cilantro and scallions. Ready to serve
