Braised Beef Noodle Soup
Braised Beef Noodle Soup
- Cut 3 pounds of beef pot roast in large pieces
- Medium heat cooking pot, then add 4 cloves of garlic, 3 large slices of ginger, 4 star anises, 2 Tbsp of peppercorns, 2 bay leaves, 1 cinnamon stick and 1 cut yellow onion cook for a minute
- Add beef cook until slightly brown (12-15 minutes), then add 2 Tbsp of soy sauce, and 2 Tbsp of cooking wine
- Add 10 cups of water, 2 Tbsp of beef bouillon, 1 tsp of salt, and 1 tsp of white pepper powder
- Close the lid, turn to low heat cook for 1.5 hours
- Remove ginger, star anises, bay leaves and cinnamon stick from the broth
- Sprinkle chopped scallions and jalapeño pepper on top of noodles. Ready to serve
