Salt and Pepper Shrimp 椒鹽蝦
- Devin 12 pieces of jumbo shrimp (shell-on)
- Chop 1/4 red onion, 4 pieces of fresh red chili peppers, 2 cloves of garlic and 2-3 scallions into small pieces. Set aside
- Coated the shrimp with 3-5 Tbsp of cornstarch
- Medium heat cooking pan, add about half full of oil
- Once the oil is hot, deep fry shrimp to golden brown (around 2-3 minutes), take the shrimp out
- Put the shrimp back in the oil for 2nd time of deep fry for a minute
- Take the shrimp out set on kitchen paper towel to remove excessive oil
- Medium heat cooking pan with 1 tsp of oil, then add all cut onions, garlic and peppers stir fry for a minute.
- Add shrimp, then sprinkle around 1 tsp of salt, 1 tsp of black pepper, pinch of white pepper and 1 tsp of cooking wine continue stir fry for another minute
- Add 1 tsp of sesame oil. Ready to serve
