I built a new PC recently, and decided to use Ubuntu as my primary operating system. I have realised that there are a few things that I can't do under Ubuntu yet, so decided I would install Windows. Is it possible to install Windows after Ubuntu?
It is possible, but is harder to do than installing Ubuntu after Windows, as Windows will overwrite GRUB, so you won't be able to boot into Linux. You can repartition your hard drive, and install Windows on the new partition. Once you have done that you will need to reinstall GRUB, by booting a Live CD. You can find a guide for installing Windows after Ubuntu at: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/RecoveringUbuntuAfterInstallingWindows
