Twin Mushrooms In Oyster Sauce 蠔油雙菇白菜

  1. Rinse 10 fresh shiitake mushrooms in water. Remove stem and cut in half, set aside
  2. Rinse one package of enoki mushrooms in water. Remove the dirt end, set aside
  3. Boil a pot of hot water, add 1 Tbsp of salt and 1 Tbsp of oil
  4. Add 10-12 pieces of Napa cabbage into the hot water cook for 2-3 minutes
  5. Take the Napa cabbage out from hot water, place on bottom of the serving plate
  6. Medium heat cooking pan with 1 Tbsp of oil, 3 cloves of garlic and 3 slices of ginger
  7. Add cut shiitake mushrooms stir fry for few minutes, then add 1 Tbsp of soy sauce, 1 Tbsp of oyster sauce, 1 tsp of sugar, pinch of white pepper powder, 1 cup of chicken broth and 1 cup of hot water
  8. Turn temperature to medium low cook for 10 minutes
  9. Add enoki mushroom and handful of cut scallions, continue cook for few more minutes
  10. Add cornstarch mixed with water to thicken the sauce
  11. Add 1 tsp of sesame oil, pour the mushrooms and oyster sauce on top of Napa cabbage. Ready to serve
