Twin Mushrooms In Oyster Sauce 蠔油雙菇白菜
- Rinse 10 fresh shiitake mushrooms in water. Remove stem and cut in half, set aside
- Rinse one package of enoki mushrooms in water. Remove the dirt end, set aside
- Boil a pot of hot water, add 1 Tbsp of salt and 1 Tbsp of oil
- Add 10-12 pieces of Napa cabbage into the hot water cook for 2-3 minutes
- Take the Napa cabbage out from hot water, place on bottom of the serving plate
- Medium heat cooking pan with 1 Tbsp of oil, 3 cloves of garlic and 3 slices of ginger
- Add cut shiitake mushrooms stir fry for few minutes, then add 1 Tbsp of soy sauce, 1 Tbsp of oyster sauce, 1 tsp of sugar, pinch of white pepper powder, 1 cup of chicken broth and 1 cup of hot water
- Turn temperature to medium low cook for 10 minutes
- Add enoki mushroom and handful of cut scallions, continue cook for few more minutes
- Add cornstarch mixed with water to thicken the sauce
- Add 1 tsp of sesame oil, pour the mushrooms and oyster sauce on top of Napa cabbage. Ready to serve
