Sautéed Beef with Shredded Potatoes 薯仔炒牛肉
- Cut 8 oz of sirloin beef into slices
- Marinate beef with 1 Tbsp of soy sauce, 1 tsp of sugar, pinch of white pepper powder, 1 Tbsp of cornstarch, then 1 Tbsp of oil for few hours
- Cut 3 cups of potatoes into stripes, set aside
- Cut half red bell pepper, half orange bell pepper and 3 scallions into 2 inches stripes. Set aside
- Medium heat cooking pan with 1 tsp of oil and 1 tsp of minced garlic
- Add beef stir-fry for few minutes, then add cut red and orange continue cook for a minute. Take it out
- Add 1 Tbsp of oil into the same cooking pan, then add cut potatoes
- Cook until potatoes slightly turn brown (3-5 minutes), then add 1 Tbsp of soy sauce, 1 Tbsp of oyster sauce, 1 tsp of black pepper and 2 Tbsp of chicken broth.
- Cook until potatoes turn soft, then add beef and bell peppers stir-fry for another minute
- Add cut scallions and 1 tsp of sesame oil. Ready to serve
