Spicy Beef with Shiitake Mushrooms and Celery
1. Cut 8 oz of sirloin beef into slices
2. Marinate beef with 1 Tbsp of soy sauce, 1 tsp of sugar, half tsp of white pepper powder, 1 Tbsp of cornstarch, then 1 Tbsp of oil for few hours
3. Cut 4 sticks of celery, 3 scallions, and 2 red chili peppers into small pieces, set aside
4. Soak 6 pieces of shiitake mushrooms in water until soft. remove stem and cut into small pieces, set aside
5. Medium heat cooking pan with 1 Tbsp of oil and 1 Tbsp of minced garlic
6. Add beef and shiitake mushrooms stir fry for few minutes, then add cut celery and red chili pepper
7. Add 1 Tbsp of soy sauce, 1 Tbsp of oyster sauce, 1 tsp of sugar, pinch of white pepper powder continue cook for another minute
8. Add half cup of chicken broth. Mix well then add cornstarch mixed with water to thicken the sauce
9. Add cut scallions and 1 tsp of sesame oil. Ready to serve.
