Ginger Garlic Chicken
- Cut 2 chicken breast in slices
- Marinate chicken with 1 tsp of salt, pinch of white pepper powder, 1 Tbsp of cornstarch mixed with 1 Tbsp of water, then 1 Tbsp of oil for few hours
- Put chicken in a large bowl, add 5 Tbsp of cornstarch to get a light coating on chicken
- Heat up a pot of oil. Put the chicken in the hot oil individually deep fry for 3-4 minutes. Take it out
- Put the chicken back to the hot oil second time and deep fry for 2 minutes. Take it out set aside
- Low heat cooking pan with 3 cloves of garlic and 3 slices of ginger slow cook for 2 minutes
- Add 1 Tbsp of soy sauce, 2.5 Tbsp of sugar, 1 Tbsp of rice vinegar, 1 cup of chicken broth and half cup of hot water
- Turn to medium heat. Add chicken, then add cornstarch mixed with water to thicken the sauce
- Add 1 tsp of sesame oil and sprinkle some sesame seeds. Ready to serve.
