Prawn toast
Prawn toast.
150g prawns. ( I just bought the cheapest )
1 egg white.
Garlic powder.
Pinch of ginger.
I blitzed all these ingredients for the filling.
4 slices white bread crusts on
Sandwich the prawn filling.
Brush with sesame oil and sprinkle sesame seeds.
Max fry 3 minutes each side.
Sauce.
I pint water.
Garlic salt.
1 tbs brown sugar.
2 tsp 5 spice
Splash balsamic vinegar
Splash soy sauce.
Bring to the boil.
Add corn flour or plain flour to thicken mixed with water.
That’s it. It may look a lot of faff but 40 mins job done.
Apart from chicken and prawns and shop bought spring rolls all made using store cupboard staples. And cost around £8 to feed 4.
