Oldtimertage at Schloß Neuhaus
Today is a sunny and warm day, so I went to Schloß Neuhaus, near Paderborn.
The event called "oldtimertage" (that translates into the day of the old time) was held here this morning: several vintage cars from all over the world concentrated in the castle garden !!!
So I took some photos of the cars parked in the garden.
Old cars have a special charm :)
are beautiful and all different from each other, not like modern cars, which are all the same regardless of the company that manufacture them.
Look at the next car, for example, isn't it beautiful?
and look how particular this mercedes is! It has a unique shape, and the two trumpets on the front make this car truly unique :)
This is the inside of the car.
Most of (if not all) the cars present here have leather interiors, briar finishes and chrome-plated metal parts.
These are not city-cars but top-of-the-gamma cars, which at the time must have cost a lot and must have belonged to very rich people.
There were also some old tractors.
This one had the engine running, so I took advantage of it and recorded a small video. The engine is kept at minimum rpm, every now and then it almost seems to be about to turn off ...
