Spicy Sha Cha Chicken
Spicy Sha Cha Chicken
- Cut 2 chicken breasts into large pieces
- Marinate chicken with pinch of salt and pepper, 1 Tbsp of cornstarch and 1 Tbsp of oil
- Cut 2 cups of mushrooms, 1 yellow onion and 2 jalapeño pepper into slices, set aside
- Medium heat cooking pan with 1 Tbsp of oil and 1 Tbsp of minced garlic
- Add chicken pan seared each side for 2 minutes, take it out set aside
- Use the same cooking pan, add 1.5 Tbsp of Sha Cha sauce (沙茶醬 aka Chinese BBQ sauce) cook for 30 seconds
- Add cut yellow onion, mushrooms and jalapeño pepper stir fry for a minute
- Add chicken, 1 Tbsp of soy sauce, 1 tsp of chili pepper or chili oil, 1 tsp of sugar, 1 Tbsp of cooking wine, 1 Tbsp of chicken broth and 1 Tbsp of hot water continue cook for few minutes
- Add 1 tsp of sesame oil, ready serve
