Sweet and Sour Chicken
Sweet and Sour Chicken
- Cut 2 pieces of chicken breast into an inch chunk size
- Season chicken with 1 tsp of salt and pinch of white pepper powder
- Cut half red bell pepper, greed bell pepper, yellow bell pepper and yellow onion into an inch size, set aside
- Mix 1 egg white with 3 Tbsp of cornstarch until create thick coating, then add cut chicken and mix well
- Medium heat cooking pot with half full of oil. Add chicken into hot oil individually
- Deep fried chicken for 3-4 minutes, take it out set aside
- Turn the pot of oil to high heat, put the chicken back in hot oil for second round of deep-fry for 2-3 minutes
- Mix 4 Tbsp of sugar, 3 Tbsp of ketchup, 2 Tbsp of rice vinegar, 3 Tbsp of pineapple juice and half cup of water
- Medium heat up the sweat and sour sauce, add cornstarch mixed with water to thicken the sauce
- Mix chicken with all the cut vegetables and sweet and sour sauce, add 1 cup of cut pineapple. Ready to serve
